We will venture across the Kidron Valley to the Mount of Olives. The views are amazing from this site at 2,641 feet above the Mediterranean Sea. The Garden of Gethsemane is the place that Jesus often went to pray, but also the place where he was betrayed and arrested. You will be awed by the ancient olive trees in this garden. We will visit the Upper Room, which is believed to have been the location of the Last Supper. Also on the agenda for today are the Israel Museum, Model for the Second Temple, and St. Peter Galicantu.

There is perhaps no more peaceful setting in all of Jerusalem than the Garden Tomb. At this site, we will shut out the hustle and bustle of the city and meditate on the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. Celebrate the EMPTY TOMB today, like no Easter Sunday you’ve ever experienced. St. Anne’s Church, Pools of Bethesda, Ecce Homo and the Via Dolorosa will help enhance this worship of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
The Jewish Quarter is one of the four traditional quarters of the Old City of Jerusalem. We will visit and even shop in the Old City today and visit the Western Wall/Wailing Wall. You will be given the opportunity to pray at the wall and even leave your written prayers in its gaps.

Masada is sure to be one of your favorite sites, as it is with almost everyone. You will hear the stories of sacrifice and see the elaborate structures that sustained so many people. We will head down to the Dead Sea and explore a bit. Ein Gedi is a lush area in an otherwise arid region. You will see a cave that David and his men took refuge from King Saul. Qumran lies at the Northwest corner of the Dead Sea. It boasts the greatest archaeological find of the 20th century, The Dead Sea Scrolls. While we are down here, we might as well take a swim in the Dead Sea!

Spend time in worship and reflections this morning as we take a breath-taking boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Imagine Jesus walking on the water and spending time fishing with his disciples in this very spot. In 1986 an ancient fishing boat was discovered in the Sea of Galilee. Archeologists have estimated it to be 2000 years old and is very likely from the time of Jesus. We will see this boat today at the Yigal Allon Galilee Boat Museum and spend time exploring in this area. Capernaum is called “Christ’s own city” because more of His miracles were performed here than any other city. Today we will also visit Gadera.

We will worship together this morning at a Sunrise Service over the Sea of Galilee. This will be a great time of reflection for the group. We will visit Ceasarea Philippi today, which was probably the point farthest north to which Jesus traveled. It was at this spot that Jesus asked his disciples “Whom do men say that I am, the Son of Man?” and, here He elicited from peter, through the revelation of the Father, the glorious revelation, “Thou art the Christ, the Son of the Living God.” We will also go to the Golan Heights, Magdala and Tel Dan.
